Cambodia has been growing at a rapid pace and over the past few years and reached 12% in 2007. The nation's GDP averaged 11% from 2004-7 lead by foreign investments and increasing local consumption. Inspite of the slowing global economy, Cambodia's growth registered 7.5% in 2008*.
